Does anyone know where I can go to find Paintless Dent Removal Training?

I am wanting to learn this trade to do on the side but have not been able to find anyplace near me that offers training courses.

Thanks!

Thanks guys!

Dent Wizard does theirs in St. Louis they said and I checked out paintbullplus.com last week but Saginaw is like 2.5 hours away. But they do a lot!

Maybe I can find a local guy to show me some things for some easy dents.

One of my good friends has been doing PDR full time for the last 8-9 years and makes a great living at it, he really hustles and has regular dealer stops. I've watched him many times and it sure looks easy, but is not. Anyway he told me that after taking a two week course and working on a used car lot at night for several years, he was not sure he would ever get a dent out perfectly but those times have changed now. He can look at it and tell you the final results before he starts work.

There were some bad hail storms in my area and he took 3 weeks vacation from his Porshe mechanic job to just do dents at a car wholesaler. He never went back and loves being his own boss.

Let me know if you find a good place around the state KGB. I am interested in taking a course just for the heck of it. It would be cool to learn how to get out the stupid parking lot door dings.

I just spent $80 having a ding taken out of my Honda, along with $125 last year. I'd love to take a course in dent removal. It would pay for itself, even if I never do it commercially. :2thumbs:

I'd like to put a ding in the heads of inconsiderate people who open their doors into other people's cars. :angry :wall

About how much?

Any dings in your Element? Those doors have no protection at all. :sosad

Element doors are good, I never park next to anyone. I thought I heard 5 to 6k for course and about the same for tools.

:soscared: Wow! It'd be cheaper to buy a new door! :spit: That's quite an investment!

With my one car I can avoid the parking lots. It's my personal toy and I simply won't park it in places where it might get dinged (shopping carts, kids, etc). But the family car gets subjected to all that and despite my best attempts to park it carefully (in the end spot, away from other cars, etc) some inconsiderate fool will park next to me and leave me a calling card :furious: so it looks like I'll be on good terms with the local Dent Wizard. At least they do good work.
