Does a DA 6" pad mean 6" foam or 6" hook and loop?

Im shortly going to get my 5"/125mm random orbital/dual action, but i really need to know if a DA 6" pad means;

-that it has 6" diameter foam and around 5-5.5" of hook and loop surface?

or

-that it has 6" diameter hook and loop surface and around 6.5-7" foam?



also, what pad brand would u recommend for a 5"/125mm backing with an ideal fit? thanks
