Doddo Juice Question

I posted recently about my new Fiat detail. Last weekend I washed and waxed with Dodo Juice Diamond White. This wax is designed for light colors not black like my Fiat. The Fiat back has flecks of color that I want to pop.

The finish looks good with the Dodo Juice. Today I drove in the rain and when I got home the car was practically dry! I'm guessing the Dodo Juice is responsible for shedding the rain so well.

This makes me want to try more Dodo Juice Wax. So my questions are:

1. Do you think the Dodo Juice Wax really sheds water that well?
2. If I get Purple Haze or Blue Velvet will that hide the flecks of color or make them pop?
3. Which would be better to try, Purple Haze or Blue Velvet?

Thanks!

I have found that Diamond White and/or Light Fantastic really work amazing on darker colors with flake to make the flake pop.

1. Yes
2. PH and BV will still make the flakes pop. I really like the pro versions of these two waxes
3. I personally like PH better but the choice is if you prefer a harder style wax or a softer style wax. Cant go wrong with either one tho.

Since the DW works well, will there be a benefit to using PH? Got to love the PH and BV names!

I have been using Dodo's line for well over a year, never once have I ever been disappointed in any purchase......bit pricey on some items but to tempting to pass.....you mentioned about Light Fantastic and how it might have contributed to sheeting off you car, I own every wax of Dodo (not the sample size) Dodo came out with Dodo Juice Supernatural Acrylic Spritz 250 ml. you want to see water sheet off....this product blew me away !! Also Hard Candy is a very universal wax( looks great on any color) also Dodo Juice Red Mist Tropical Protection Detailer, but again like I said it is a bit pricey

1) Yes most carnauba waxes will promote excellent water sheeting. The actual carnauba content of the wax swells when exposed to water, which repels water.

2) I have never noticed any flake "muting" with any of the Dodo Juice range. In your case, you maybe consider Purple Haze Pro or Blue Velvet Pro, as it contains a mix of polymers that will increase durability and could help promote flake "pop" (or clarity).

3) The waxes are essentially the same, the difference being the consistency of the waxes. I find that hard waxes are easier to apply thinly, and therefore would recommend Blue Velvet or Blue Velvet Pro.

I had the chance to try out the PH pro version from a mini sample. I will say I was impressed. It was easy to work with and had tight beading. I have considered getting the full size but have yet to pull the trigger.

I know thread from the dead,....but I wanted to do some research on the DoDo Juice before taking the plunge. I may purchase some in the future.
THANKS!

I bought a small jar of the Purple Haze Pro. Just used it last weekend. Been meaning to post about. Will try to soon.

The wax is real nice!
