Do you wash...regardless of weather?

I know for a fact David uses lemon scented Pledge all over his Porsche. :scared

I have lots of pics taken by a spy hired some time ago to find out what "secrets" would be exposed in his next installment of the e-book.:p

I could tell you but then I'd have to make you wash your hair in this stuff.

We should have one of those "spy" un-man-ed little airplanes they are using in Afgan. They have cameras in them...we should fly one around Davids home and see what he really uses...!!!

Lets see what product he would sacrifice when he throws at it the plane....

If memory serves correct, I believe that David B. and Brad B. both love to follow up their coat of wax or polymer with some bacon grease.

Not a mind reader..but...I think you could limit it to a least the products he sells.

Ok now this is a total hijack but does he? I heard a few elite detailers mention using pledge for their interior leather. I squirmed at the thought, but now this resurected my curiosity.

Feel free to PM anyone.

When it comes to your daily driver, do you wash it when dirty, regardless of the next day weather prediction of rain?

We have rain coming for three days, but my cars are dirty, and they are getting a wash today.

Do you wash or do you wait?

I wash because it's not hard work and I enjoy doing it.

Here, where it rains almost constantly, I wash all the time, because I have a business, and because at some point, all the dirt on my cars makes me crazy to look at.
There are people here that dont wash their cars at all for the entire winter, and you can always tell because they are a different, ugly, brown-gray,nasty color.

A lot of people around here hit the Chevron Automatic Free Car Wash with a fill up, but I will never go there....

During the winter months, I will wash it regardless of the forecast the next day. I can't stand the salt on the car. If it is spring and the car could use a bath, but it is going to rain the next day, I will wait. I wanted to wash my car today, but it is supposed to rain the next two days, so I decided to watch the Mets game instead.

I thought washing the car MAKES it rain? (a modern man's version of the "rain dance")

I think I could stop droughts around the world. All they need is to ship me and my car into the area, let me wash it, and it will probably rain the next day.

Back to the question?

If the car is real dirty, I will give it a quick wash regardless of the forecast.

If it's pretty clean or just dusty, I'll wait until after the rain.
