Hey guys

Long time reader, first time poster :) Just after some advise on detailing my car, I've already bought alot of the products needed, but just wanted to check before I attacked anything...Do I need/should I use another polish after poorboys SSR1?

Basically my method for detailing was going to be:

1. Wash car with dawn or similar to remove the wax

2. Clay the car (Clay magic blue + magic lube)

3. Wash again (Should I use dawn again here, or ONR?)

4. Polish swirls/minor marks out using SSR2.5 & Edge Green pad (stepping up to yellow pad if i need more cut)

5. Polish again using SSR1 and edge blue pad

6. This is where im not sure if I should polish again with something like poorboys pro

7. Wash again using ONR then Wax using collinite 476 on edge white pad

Will be using a meguiars G220 RO (aussie version of the G110), and the car is a Black 06 Commodore SS (Paint would be pretty much identical to the US GTOs).

Thanks heaps guys! Have learnt heaps just reading on here, and hopefully this will help the beast show its true shine again :2thumbs:

Cheers guys, will give it a shot and see how she comes out :) Hopefully have some before/after pics early next year, will tackle it over the holidays :)
