Do I need a 3" DA?

I am currently using a HF DA with a 3" bp. I have wanted to purchase a true 3" for a long time but never did. Any reason/benefits over my current set-up to get a true 3" DA such GG or Rupes? If so, is the Rupes 3" worth the $$$? 
 
The GG 3 inch is a waste of time. Barely any throw. I'd rather have a small pad/plate on a PC XP or a GG instead. 
 
Yeah, while I do like my little Griot's *pneumatic* RO, that's just me and their electric one disappointed me.  I do like the little units because I do almost all spot-correction, but IMO most people simply don't need one.  I'd buy the Rupes if I were shopping today, but generally I think you oughta save your money.  The whole idea of needing one for "tight spots" and "thin areas like "A" pillars" is, IMO, mostly a marketing ploy. 
 
recently i got the Rupes LHR75E & can NOW see the weaksauce small Griots i was using is useless. now i know why someone gifted it to me. get the Rupes, you will love it.
