DMV Inspection checklist

What do DMV look for during inspection, cause I have a broken door handle from the inside and a missing grille. Does any of these count during inspection?

Well I don't believe it does in NY, but without knowing which state you are in will make it a little difficult to get the proper answer.

They would get you for the interior door handle in Utah. Got to be able to get out in an emergency.

Look at the bright side even if it fails, you can still polish and wax it
