Dissappointed.....

Ronkh

Wax Waster
Well, as most of you know I have been sealing and waxing my car in prep for winter.

Last night after the trip to Maine I just washed my car and quick QD to aid in drying.

I was actually dissappointed in the way it looked.

I am used to having a "fresh sealed/waxed" look whenever I am finished. This didn't have it.

This ever happen to anyone else?

It wasnt the products, it looked waxed and clean. Not "freshly waxed".
If that makes any sense.

Ron...What QD are you using??

What's the temps in your area as well.

I think my standards are creeping up on what I want a freshly waxed car to look like. This is the addiction to buy new stuff.

Re: Disappointed.....

That's why I asked about the temp in his area...knowing that he is on the east coast and its cold out that way...I think that QD is much like any product that you apply to the paint...temp has a lot to do with it, and its capabilities to bond to the surface...that could make the product look different in appearance!

More of the fact that I drove 600 miles in really bad rains, and the idiots who cleaned my gutters just dropped the crap on my car.
