Digital cameras

I am in the market to purchase a digital camera and would like to hear everyone's advice on them. I want to spend around $400 on everything. I would like to have atleast 3.2 MP and a lithium ion battery, but that is not a must(or should it be?). I would also like for it to take great pictures in auto mode, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard that this one is a good one, and it's the one I've been thinking of getting. However, I don't know to much about them, other than the reviews on this site:
