Difference between "Hard" wax and "Soft" wax

Specifically in DODO Juice waxes but in many others as well....whats the difference between "hard" paste wax and a "Soft" paste wax?



is it the durability? the way it's made? the shine?

Generally speaking, the difference in performance is specific to the product. Some hard waxes don't last as long or shine as bright as the soft ones and vice versa. The advantage of a hard wax, from my experience is, it's easier to get a thin film with hard wax because the applicator will pick up less of it. The advantage of the soft wax is it may spread more easily.

personal preference and I think that you can apply soft waxes by hand. Out of a few waxes I used I prefer something in the middle, if find myself using a lot more product with soft waxes and since there was more of it on the surface it was harder to remove.
