difference between 3M products?

Can someone please tell me the difference between 3M's swirl mark remover (either for light or dark colored cars) and Finess It II? It seems like they both claim to do pretty much the same thing, so how does one choose which one to use? Which one is more abrasive?
 
You know, I thought I might be able to help, but I am just as curious as you now. 3M is so vague with their product descriptions that you really can't make any kind of decision based on them.

FI FM seems very similar to the 8oz Scratch Remover at Advance and the 8oz Rubbing compound found at WalMart-all claim to remove 1500 sanding marks. The slightly more aggressive rubbing compound claims to remove 1200 sanding marks. Seems to me its a lot of overlap in the product line.
