Did I hurt the paint????

Just applied Einzet MP with green pad at a speed of 4 by PC to my Grand National. Pulled it out and I see swirls and some hazing in spots.



Is this somewhat typical of MP? I did a full prep of Dawn wash / clay before application. I still have not applied the Einzet PP with blue pad. I hope that takes the imperfections out completely.



What would you reccomend if the PP does not remove the swirls and hazing??

Don't sweat it. MP is a very mild polish, you need to use the PP first then MP after. Those swirls you see were there before you used MP because MP will not put swirls in your paint. You've tried the least agressive method first which is good. Now try the PP with a polishing pad. If you still see swirls move up to a cutting pad with PP. That should do the trick. You will then need to follow with PP and a polishing pad and most likely MP with polishing pad to finish. Then your lsp .
