Newbie detailer...didn't use anything really expensive but did I do good for what I used?



Kit Swirlmark remover (2 Coats)

Meguiars wax (2 Coats)
 
looks good mate !!!!



now since you have joined this site it looks like you have caught the detailing bug.



the next step is to start experimenting and find a rpoduct that works very well on the explorer.



you know you have done a good job and used the right products when you sit back and think "wow".

Ex, youve done a great job ! Now that your hooked, keep reading all the various threads, describing different products and their individual aspects......a couple months from now your going to wonder why you used Kits ! Its amazing once you learn what is available, the different results you can obtain......great job !

I would say it took about 4.5 to 5 hours. It was the first time I've been able to touch it by hand since I got it during winter. The time includes the vaccum, dash treatment, wash, dry, 2 coats of SMR and 2 coats of wax
 
Looks pretty good but pics are small and limited. Let's see pics of the whole truck.
