looked like this to start out
the car was bought used. I don't know what the previous owner or dealer did to the car, but this pic doesn't even give a hint of how bad it was. I think they must have gotten an ice scrapper or a broom and really went to town on the car in the winter. all of the body pannels were covered with swirls and these marks. it almost looked like hte paint was "compressed" or squished, not scratched.
we spent about 6 hours on it and still couldn't get everything out, even with using a wool pad on the PC with DACP. We finally had to give up because I had no more clean pads
An aside: I tried a Lake County orange pad for the first time and was VERY VERY VERY VERY disappointed. the pad litterally fell apart on me! it looked like the edge of the backing plate cut through the pad almost all the way through to the front surface
I've had yellow and white pads from Lake County and they've held up find over probably half a dozen intense sessions & cleanings.
Anyhow, on with the show
