Diamond Cut works well on 1500 grit scratches

Smoker and I were doing some touch up practice on my wife's Accord. Now, granted that this isn't the best touch up work in the world, the point is the scuff marks from the 1500 grit paper. We need to do the scratch over again because it doesn't look a whole lot better than it did before. At least its smooth now! lol

This is the scratch after it had been filled and sanded down. Smoker was a little stressed that the scratches wouldn't come out after wet sanding it. lol

We went over it with a PC and Diamond Cut maybe 2 or 3 times and the marks are gone from every angle. The scratch still needs to be redone but that's not the point. :o Unless you could see it then you couldn't feel it. It is totally smooth and undetectable when running your fingers over it. And those marks are 100% gone.

Nope. No swirls. I had just polished out the whole car a couple weeks before anyway and the bumper isn't usually a place that swirls hide out on. I used my yellow pad and it was probably set at 2 or 3. Nothing too fast. I was being careful and testing it out. I think we did move it up a click on the 3rd pass though. Just to make sure it was all gone.
