How much is everyone diluting their 901 for normal washing? I've read that the instructions on the container are too strong, but I'm not sure what people have had success with. I tried 1.5 ounces in about 3 gallons of water (using a Lowes GS) and it seemed too weak.
Water hardness (or other trace impurities for that matter) vary widely and could likely be a cause of the discrepancies mentioned previously. I typically find the instructed concentration to be overkill and use half to 2/3 the 1:128 dose recommended. I do however tend to wash frequently and only need light cleaning abilities. If the vehicle is in rough shape and you aren't concerned about compromising current LSP's then maybe you could step up to something like CG CW&G or add a little APC to you wash bucket.
I have the big container with a pump dispenser, and I use 1 full pump for a full bucket - its thick and loads of suds, and I am in a VERY hard water area :2thumbs:
