Howdy folks:)

This has been bugging me for quite some while..........

Is DG 105 an AIO or a pure Sealant?

I have read that it contains some light cleaners, but have also read people have layered it aswell (which is really odd if it is an AIO)

so what is the truth?

AIO or Sealant?

Thankss,

Brendan

105 has a very very light cleaner, in my experience, that merely aids in the product bonding better to the surface. If you are using 105 and expecting AIO abilities from it, you will be underwhelmed. 105 is a pure sealant as far as I'm concerned, with a light agent to ensure proper bonding. It is absolutely nothing like an AIO (KAIO or their 101). The DG 101 is closest to a true AIO, in my experience.

I wholeheartedly believe that 105 can layer when used by hand, because the light agent will not remove previous layers with light hand application. Although, via PC, it may remove some of the existing layer(s) because of the pressure and heat generated from the PC.

awwww here we go again. Pure sealant to me. Please don't call and ask DG and post what they said here. It'll make you just confused.

some people would know what i mean..... :grinno:

Your statement has me confused or wondering what it means. Guess I'm one of the few who don't know what it means. Oh well, I'm not the brightest light in the dark anyway,Lol.

thanks for the reply guys :)

hehehe, i emailed DG yesterday ganda :D..........the guy that replied explained to me pretty much what was said above - it has very mild cleansing agents, but mild enough that u can layer it without removing any of the previous layer

Thanks,

Brendan

thats what they told me last year...and I posted it 100 times...lol...it will not remove it self..the light cleaner just preps the surface to ensure no fallout stuck on the paint...it is there most durable sealant ..101 and the one for fiberglass is the strongest cleaner types...

101 cleans better than AIO...

In my experience it is a sealant. I would compare it to Mothers Reflections in cleaning ability. I would not consider it an AIO at all.

There were some controversies among people about this topic. Some said it's AIO while others called it 'almost pure sealant' (you can't really call it AIO). They quoted what DG guys said to back their claims up. Guess what, no settlement.

I'm sure TigerMike and AL-53 were two of them. :argue

Just spend some time searching for DG products, and you'll see lots of threads with them in it.

Straight to the conclusion: DG 105 is da ****!! :2thumbs:
