dewalt 849 broke/help

I bought a dewalt 849 buffer used online. I got the buffer pluged it in and it worked fine. went from 1400 rpm to 3000 to make sure it worked. attached a buffing pad, turned it down to 1800. put the pad on the paint presed the trigger it turned 2 times and just stoped. i kept pressing trigger and it wouldnt move. tried a diff. outlet and nothing. I took it apart and theres this one wire not connected to anything. anyone have a wiring diagram or can point me in a direction to go before i contact the seller?
 
There are usually Dewalt Factory Service and Sales Centers in every city (Dewalt is all they sell and do). If you get stuck you can always look on up.
