Detailing seminars going strong

I just completed 130 detailing seminars since I started them. Here are some pics at the one I hosted at Fox Valley Lamborghini, co sponored with the Chicago Ferrari Club. Many people have asked me about them, and all I can tell you their are big bucks in them. I will be writing an article for a popular trade magazine soon, and my topic will be "detailers now selling products for profit". Part of my business plan is to get the revenue for selling products, and teaching to exceed the dollars for detailing. This seminar I had 75 people attend. Gary

Wish I can attend one of those... Quite a few has asked me locally to conduct seminars like such but I dont have the skill to present things to an audience without making them feel overwhelmed with the info provided. hehe.

Sounds interesting . Would you let us know which Magazine and when yor article appears, sounds like a good read. TIA

Libraries have been my best deal for both myself and the patrons. Tax dollars generated from local towns go to Libraries to fund new programs (Can you say auto detailing 101?) I started out charging $100 for the hour and a half program, now I'm up to $225, I have got paid as high as $325 if I travel farther from my area. I also teach at high schools, junior colleges, park districts and car clubs. . I get paid a little less at those places but the exposure and the products I sell makes up for it. Americas Car Care business interviewed me for an article which should come out this fall titled "Professional Detailers selling products for profit". Gary

Jim, I pm'd you. My seminars are free to patrons at Libraires, (Thanks to tax dollars)most Junior colleges, high schools are charing around $18-$29.00. I just introduced my first three part advanced class. First one is the basic one, second two are in a auto shop and I ask students to bring a small fender or part with them. We do hands on instruction and everyone gets to try their hand with all my buffers. We detail part of car in this class. Gary
