detailing pics

Today, after discovering this site and reading it all weekend, I got ultra motivated...So, this morning I decided to do a number on my alpine white '99 M3 . I had been noticing some clear coat scratching in the front of the hood where my hood bra had been...so I used my rotary at 1300 rpms with Meguiars Fine Cut Polish (#2). Then, I put away the rotary, and took out my orbital, and went over the whole car with Mothes Gealer Glaze, and finished up with Griot's Best of Show carnauba. I think the results are outstanding...Before I did this I thought I had decided to give either Klasse or Zaino a worl after seeing some of the fabulous before and afters particularly on red...But after looking at these pics, I really dont think they had anything on me....I garage all day at work and at home so I dont mind at all doing the carnauba thing ever 2 or 3 mos...Less during the summer, so I guess Im undecided....All I know is these results are pretty sensational...And, so is this forum!

Sweet, a lot of the finish is in surface prep though. Gotta love that rotary. I love those Fikse rims, must of cost a lot of $$$.

Happy Detailing,

Jason

Paul, looks sweet! Why don't you post a pic of the whole car so we can drool. So far, we have only seen the hood and fender! :D

Thanks guys for your kind comments...I just ordered my new PC today from coastaltools, or something like that...They have a cool bonus pack kit going for $119! My M3 is a '99. I had it dynoed at 346 rear wheel HP, which converts to 420 hp at the crank, thanks to a Dinan Vortech supercharger, water injection, and 11 psi boost. Here's a pic:
