Detailing pays off

Car Detailing Whore
I went to my first car show today with my nice and shiny 1990 Mustang. I took 2nd in a three-way tie in Late Model Mustangs. They said it was hard to believe that the car had 141,000 miles on it, and were even more surprised that a 17 year old was keeping it in such good shape. :D

My digi cam batteries are dead, but here is a pic of what the interior basically looks like (just not from today, same shine though because I did the exact same detailing procedure)

By the time 200,000 rolls around that car will have changed a lot. New motor, new wheels, new paint job, and completely new interior.

man that stang looks great. i've been a big fan of the 5.0s since back when they first came out. never owned one but know several people who have. yours looks amazing for a 90'. like an earlier thread was talking about, it's easy to shine up a new car but one that's 13 years old is another story. congratulations!

Thank you, I love my car dearly. The outside picture is rather forgiving though, the lower body panels show the mileage quite well. But its nothing that a real good body shop couldnt fix for $500.
