Bit of a strange question - I clayed my car (white) with meguiar's clay before getting the 'clear bra' paint protection film installed.
This clay is very soft and left a few yellow patches, I guess where I'd let it sit on the hood.
I figured the place that installed the film would prep the surface thoroughly, but it seems they didn't. Now I've got the film installed but I can see a couple of patches where the yellow is still there.
Is there any risk that this could stain the paint long term? (my car is white)
I'm not crazy about having them redo it as I wasn't impressed with the quality of work, but if I might be stuck with permanent stains I probably should.
thanks for any advice.
