One thing that I beleive is lost here (on the forums) is Technique! Which I beleive would help just about everyone! Not everyone wants to spend all the loads of money that we do to just get results of a "well maintained" car.
So what are some basic techniques and essentials that we can tell someone who is just getting started. Start here!
Ie: When applying a Swirl remover, Polish, Sealent or wax what is the proper technique? Is it Back & Forth (front to back)? Small Circular motions? Is it Wax on Right hand large circle. Wax off Left hand large circle Karate Kid Style!
What are the right types of dressings/and other products to use, and how should they be appplied?
Best way to get into the small corners?
Detailing around emblems?
I think that detailing of the paint is probably the area that really requires the most Technique. And in order for a newbie to acheive quality results w/ out investing large amounts of money it really comes down to propper techneiques.
