Detailing AS I TYPE -- need help !

OK, the rain delayed me but I'm starting up now.....need some last-sec questions...

(1) I have a MOON ROOF -- it's somewhat tinted (compared to the windshield), not sure if it's tinted inside or outside. Can I use clay on it? What about using AIO and UPP on it?

(2) Should I label my MF towels for what I use them today so I use them for the same exact purpose in the future? Or will cleaning/washing make them all about equal, no need to earmark 1 for clay removal, 1 for AIO mopup, etc.
 
If it is dark then it is tinted glass. The tint is always on the inside. Yes you can use clay on it.

Wash your microfibers and use them for whatever you want when they are clean. Its easier that way.
 
Thanks, Jngr, what about AIO/UPP and any Poorboys stuff on the moon roof? I would guess anything OK for the head/tail lights is OK for the moonroof and/or windows, right?
 
You should be able to use whatever you want up there. Its not going to make any difference though. I mean, its just glass. Clean it with glass cleaner and that is about all you need to do. Putting something like wax or sealant on it isn't going to make it look any different or work any better.
 
As to the mf's, you could color-code them. ie: White for wax removal, green for glass, blue for..... you get the idea.
