Detailing after Winter

So when do ya'll do the first full detail after winter has left. Right when it get's warm but there's all that pollen on your car for the first 1 1/2 months or so. It's that period where you can wash your car, and after 20 minutes, pollen is back on it :)

Or are you patient and do a full polish/wax after the pollen has settled.

Me.......I just ask for the abuse. I do it when it just get's warm and do another full detail after the pollen has settled.

As soon as it's warm I'm doing a full detail. I'm going to strip everything off the car and try out my new PC. :D Pollen doesn't really concern me because I usually wash twice a week and CA dust and QD in betwen washing or if it's bad enough wash it a third time OR FOURTH TIME. :D :D

This is actually my first winter with the Z. So far I've washed her three days in a row this week and QD a couple of time to keep her clean. It's going to be a long winter.

Yep,

I'm the same way!! as soon as it's 55 or 60 out, it's rained a few times to clean the salt from the roads, I'm out there in detail land with my PC!! So don't bug me;) I fear no pollen, bring it on mothernature:p ,,,,,91

Same here. Once it hits 50. I wash out the garage and driveway to get rid of any salt, then wash w/ Dawn, clay, and the rest...

From March to October I detail my car twice a month anyway so pollen doesn't bother me. I'll just wash it off.

I'm the same as all of you, I do it once its warm and I know snow is no longer an issue. I do try and wait until after the first few rain storms so I know the bulk of the salt has been washed away. I am the same with the pollen, car gets washed twice a week so its no that big of a deal. In the winter I try to wash once a week unless we see snow and temp providing it is not unusual for my car to see a bath once a day. What really drives me nuts is the chips on my front end from the lovely street conditions. No washing this week though with temps around 8 degrees. Damn thats cold for NY tri-state area.
