HI,

I am new to the forum and I am looking to do a good cleanup of the paint on my 93' Typhoon. Its in pretty rough shape (particulalry the roof, and hood). ITs black and Im pretty sure its a single stage paint. I am looking for any suggestions on what to use or how to go about it. I have seen a couple people on here have done syclones in the past maybe they can chime in also thanks for the help!!!

Hey, I just recently did my buddies Syclone. For some reason I got tons of paint transfer (sign of single stage paint) on the hood/fenders/doors/roof but I got almost nothing on the quarter panels/tail gate.

I used Optimum Compound on an orange LC pad and finished with Optimum Polish on a white LC pad via the PC. I also used Poorboys trim restore for the cladding but be patient as that cladding is usually dry and sucks in the dressing after 15/20 minutes. I applied the tr to a sponge so I can apply it evenly and quickly and had to go back over it a few times.
