Detailed the Wife's car!

Bigs

Weekend Detailer!
Washed, clayed, SSR2 and then SSR1 w/PC, Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid with PC, all removed by hand. Simple green max for the wheels and dressed with PB B&B Dressing. Mudflaps dressed with PB Trim Restorer.

Didn't have enough time for my usual AIO and EX but it came out pretty good!

Pics were taken the next morning as I finished when it was dark out!

Thanks Mang!

Black is nice and reflective but dang all the scratches, scuffs and swirls come out to hit you.

It took longer for me to remove the deffects than to wash, clay and wax! :) He car is a lease so I'm keeping it clean and scratch free!

An excellent example of the truth in "Prep is 90%, product is 10%".
The car looks great and the LSP is Meguiar's OTC Gold Class.
With the prep you did, chances are any of several OTC "Budget Priced" products would have turned out looking good.

Thanks for the props all! The wife was also quite impressed! This car is only 1-1/2 years old and she was amazed to see all the scratches gone!

I agree with you Charles... Some OTC products are very good but I wouldn't say that for all of them...

My bottle of GC is 2-1/2 years old and I keep it for quicker detail jobs... Instead of using steps like AIO then P21S or EX. I also like GC because it's quite durable. I would prefer the paste but at the time, they only had the liquid.
