Detailed the T/A Convertible the other say, got plenty of pics...

Well i just got back from Florida, and it drove me crazy with my car sitting down there in the sun, ungaraged, and not being able to detail it like i use to. So the other day i spent a lot of time on it, and im very happy with the results.



The process i used was...



Wash with Meguiars Gold Class

Clay with Zaino

Z6

Merenza IP on SFX-1 pad

Merenza IP on 4" SFX-1 pad in problem areas

Z-PC on SFX-2 pad

Z-AIO on SFX-3 pad and on wheels

Z-5 by hand

Z-2 by hand and on wheels

Z-8

Z-16 on tires/trim

RaggTopp Cleaner/Protectant on top (great stuff!)

Im VERY pleased with the results. First time i have used Z-AIO and i love it! Ive gotten so many compliments on my car and the paint since ive detailed it, no one beleives that its a 98 b/c of how good it looks. I washed it for the first time today since i did it and man does the paint glow! :bow :D
 
My lord that is one fantastic looking T/A. If you hadn't said it was a '98 I'd think you had bought one of the last ones and kept it in storage. Very impressive results, your paint just glows. :kewlpics
 
thanks for all the compliments guys! I really need to get a better camera to take some pics of it, the camera that took those pics is my crappy 3.2 MP Canon ive had FOREVER...

i love it. The one thing i like about it is that i have had NO spin off at all when i use it. NONE. I use to always have spinoff from my tire dressings in the past, no matter how small of an amount i put on it and no matter how long i let it dry. And plus it gives that "new tire look" without being too shiney. So yeah, i love it.
