detailed the cobra today

It didn't really need a detail, but I figured I'd give it one anways :D



Products Used

- Clearkote Soap

- SSR1 by PC polishing pad

- VM by PC polishing pad

- CMW by PC finishing pad

- S100 by hand

- BnB on tires

- Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber protectant on plastic trim



I had applied a fresh coat of S100 about 2 months ago...it was still holding up pretty well despite all the rain we got recently. Here's a beading shot I took while washing it:

Did you notice a big difference after you topped the CMW with s100? I was gonna do the exact same steps to my cobra minus the s100 (and trim/tired products).

yes...the S100 took a bit of the glossiness away but added some wetness. I love the way my car looks with the S100 at night. But...during the day, it looked better with just CMW.

Yes, cobras don't come with anything in the front. The only thing I did was swap out a pony emblem for a snake.
 
Oh how I miss my '96 Snake - sigh



I have driven the '03 and it is absolutely ridiculous. My '96 was fast, but to add 100 horses? Wow :up

I used CMW on my Sonic Blue coupe and I loved the way it darkened the paint some. Your black looks so dark in the pics, classic CMW results. Also looke like the S100 is working good as, looks really wet from some of the angles.



Ever thought of doing the SS inserts, that was one of my favorite things I did on my 03?

thanks, yes, it is lowered (H&R SuperSports). I also have a Magnaflow catback, MGW shifter, K&N FIPK, MM full length subframes, and Eibach 1" spacers on the back wheels.



I will also be getting a 2.93" pulley w/ an idler set, a predator, and some 17x10.5's with 315/35/17's in the back sometime in the future...
