Detailed our 2001 Mustang GT...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
We don't drive this car much now that we have three cars, but she's been long overdue for a little polishing. So I spent a bit of time on her over the last weekend and some nights this past week and got her lookin' good again.

She got claybarred, polished with SSR1, some White Diamond over top of that and then some EX-P. I then added 2 coats of Natty's blue to seal the deal.

I also had ordered a pair of 17x10.5" wheels/tires from American Muscle last week, so I got those installed on the rear, changed her oil/filter (Valvoline/K&N) and also ordered a Noah car cover about a week ago from Auto Geek, but it looks like it might take a few weeks for that to ship. it's long overdue so now maybe we can keep the finish better protected.

Anyway, here's the good stuff...

Actually, those headlights have been polished...but that's about as good as they'll get. I'm thinking of buying some new ones. In fact, the first set were horribly cloudy, so I bought these used a few years ago and this is how they look after recently polishing them.

The sunroof we had installed in 2001 right after we bought it. It's a Webasto brand and it's held up great all these years. Just a slight bit of paint bubbling/rust starting to show up around one corner now, so overall, I'd say we're really happy. Yeah...I heard nightmares about aftermarket roofs leaking badly...guess we had a good installer.

LOVE THE COLOR! Mustang looks great.....I have a 2000...they are the best looking body styles IMO.

Get out and put some miles on that beast...they can handle it..mine has over 110,000 miles!
