Detailed my cobra again...Optimum Polish + Blue Natty's (major DUW)

My precious coat of Souveran went thin on me over the last month, so I decided it was time to do another detail today. I took a bit of a different approach this time:



- Wash w/ P21S soap and foam gun

- Wolfgang clay on hood and front bumper

- Optimum Polish via PC Polishing pad

- Clearkote RMG via PC Polishing pad

- Poorboy's EX (one coat) via PC Finishing pad. Removed after 1 hour.

- Poorboy's Blue Natty's special edition wax (one coat)

- Clearkote Metal Polish on exhaust tips

- Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel on tires



I was very impressed with the Optimum Polish. It's extremely versatile and it doesn't dust up at all. It seems like you can work this stuff in forever.



The Poorboy's EX + Blue Natty's combo is also quite nice. Very reflective, great depth, and decent wetness. We'll see how much dust it attracts and how long it lasts. I still like Souveran a bit better for looks alone, but EX + Blue Natty's came pretty damn close.

very beautiful, you should try to tape up the grills on the hood with some 3m automotive tape. It will save you the hassle of removing dried up polish on plastic parts.

I have to say I think that's the best I've seen your car look. I could be wrong, but it sure looks good!



How you likin' being pullied, must feel good huh? I wish I would have gotten a chance to pulley my 03, but someday I will. When i get another one.

thanks...well, my car looked a tad nicer with the Souveran on...but these are definitely the best set of pictures I've taken.



The pullies are awesome :) It's harder than ever to keep the pedal off the floor.
 
Looks excellent! last month it was M3, now this month we are seeing a ton of Cobras. Your car looks about flawless from what we can see in your pics.
 
Great Detail work. the Cobra looks great. Black looks awesome when its detailed. It always shows the best shine and reflection of any color. Just keeping it that way is the hardest part.
