I must say, it truely was an honor to detail this car. It is owned by Max, the owner of Autogeek. As some of you may know, he only liives a few blocks away from me.

Anyways, it's a 2002 Corvette Convertible in Silver, with 10,700 miles on it. The condition of the paint was terrific.

Products/process:
Exterior:
Poorboy's S&W
Mother's clay on paint and windows
Klasse AIO w/polishing pad on 5 w/my PC on paint, windows, and wheels
Pinnacle Signature Series Wax
Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel on tires
ArmorAll Tire dressing in wheelwells
Detailer's Pride Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner on top, followed by
303 High Tech Fabric Guard

Interior:
Vacuum
Pinnacle Leather Cleaner & Conditioner on seats
303 Aerospace Protectant on all vinyl and plastic
Poorboy's S&W for doorjambs
Eagle One 20/20 glass cleaner
Prestone carpet cleaner for some spots (ie, driver side floormat)

All in all, I really enjoyed it. Max is the nicest guy I know. I picked the car up Saturday evening and he told me I could have it until this evening, which I thought was really cool. The Z28 actually slept outside tonight while the Vette took its garage spot!! :D

On to the pics....

Looks good in my garage huh? :p

Wow man!

That came out absolutely flawless! And that flake is jumping out of my screen!

Hoping you can do the same with my friend's car :D

very nice detail...excellent job of capturing the flakes in the pics! Must have been nice to wake up and come out to that sitting in your garage!! But please tell me that my eyes are deceiving me about the auto shifter?:eek hehe anyways outstanding job:bigups

This car was just to hold him off until the 6-speed C6 Vette arrives next month, so that explains the auto. Very cool car to drive IMO!

Thanks for the compliments :)

He musta been busy shipping out all the freebies they gave away:)
Car looks great! you did an outstanding job.

Great work ,that vette looks sweet .:bigups

Did you apply Pinnacle Signature by hand ?
and how does Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel hold up ? Does that high gloss shine last for a few days ? TIA

Thanks for the great pics :bigups

Thanks everyone :D

The tire gel IMO has had very good durability. Lasts a good week or two, but I reapply every time I wash my car so that doesn't matter anyways. No sling, and is one of my favorite dressings. :bigups

I applied Signature by hand. Very easy to use....feels kinda like using Souveran. Seems like a very versatile wax considering it's based off the Souveran formula, yet is incredible on metallics.

Matt,
Great job on the car :bigups
The silver looks incredable.

Hey I just noticed you did detail Santa's sleigh, Let us know if you get better toys :lol

Happy Holidays

No no....this isn't Santa's sleigh....this is just his weekend car. Keep your eyes peeled for the "delivery vehicle"! :D

Looks Great!!! The smooth lines of the C5 make them very fun to detail. I'll be doing dad's again on the 26th. (First time was a bit rushed.)
