So I met with a fellow www.mr2.com member today and detailed his fresh new baby, a 93 Turbo. I'm quite impressed with the condition of this car to begin with, given that it was in Texas all it's life and it had no wax on it when I washed it.

Here's the list of attack that I did on his car:

Dawn wash to remove all old wax (was there any wax even on this car?)

Klasse All In One to clean and prep the pain for Zaino

Meguiars Scratch X on the few misc scratches and once over on the spoiler to try and get some shine out of it.

Z2/ZFX (Zaino)

S100 Paste Wax for a topper

Zaino's tire dressing on the tires and the misc blact trim along the bottom of the car

Simply Green on the engine compartment. It really wasn't that bad when I got there.

Like the pics show, this car is im awesome shape. I just hope that the owner tires of it quick so I can buy it from him. Patience will be virtue in my case, as I found my next 2. . .(he told me that he also goes thru cars fairly quick, like me)

Love those cars. The gen 2's (like this one) look like mini-Ferraris. As a mid-engine freak, I hope to get a chance to run in one some day.

They are nice cars. I have driven 2 N/A MK2's, but havent gotten the chance to play with a turbo.

Your work really makes the car stand out even more than it does already.

thanks for the kind words thevolvoguy.

in the past I owned a 89(1st gen body) Supercharged MR2, followed by a 91 Turbo MR2 (this body style) and a 91 N/A. It is such a fun car to drive, even with these chicago winters they aren't that bad. I was looking for one not too long ago, as I'm trying to sell my WRX. I'm trying to convince the owner of this car to sell it to me sometime soon. he's only had it all of 3 days though . . .gotta keep looking. . . .

I love this pics, of AIO in the works. . .

yah, the rain threatend the whole time I was working on it, with a few spurts of sunshine. It downpoared on me about 20 miles south of there on my way home. . .I'm sure that he got it in the garage in time. . .
