Here's one of the finished product. I had to remove a ton of tar that had been on there for like 6 years. I used 3M Tar, Adhesive, and Wax remover that I got at Wal-Mart. It worked surprisingly well, but still required a lot of time and effort. Then I clayed the upper part of the car (the cladding is a pain and not worth it) with Mother's. It left some strange streaking/hazing behind that I couldn't figure out. But, the next step was DACP with a red cutting pad which took it right out. It actually didn't help too much with the swirls, though, but the car was super swirled so I'm not surprised. I then put Souveran on the upper half (just felt like it) and Meg's cleaner wax on the lower half. I sprayed the wheels with Engine Kote and dressed the tires. The tires were like crumbling rubber on the sidewalls, so they still looked pretty crappy and uneven. The paint was also not nearly as red as it was when new. It had a crappy orangish red color. The car was not particularly well treated. Mainly just dealer washed and that was it. Anyway, here it is:
