Ok.....This thing was HUGE!

7 hours invested in this one. Interior was a mess but I've seen worse. The out side was swirled beyond belief. As you can see, he live on a farm. At least he's using this truck for what it was made for.

Here's what it got...

Pinnacle XMT #3 Swirl Remover

(EDGE 2000 Yellow Cutting Pad at #5)

Pinnacle XMT Glaze

(EDGE 2000 Orange Polishing Pad at #3)

DP's Max Wax

(2 coats by hand...removed by hand)

Once again the XMT line came through for me. Even though XMT #3 is aggressive, light passes at the end let it polish out well with no marring. The glaze helped bring out the metallics and give the glow. Max Wax went on smooth giving the high gloss finish we love.

Other Products Used:

Armor All Tire Gel

Meguiar's Hyper Dressing

Meguiar's APC

Stoner's Invisible Glass

Cobra Micro Fibers

Excellent work! The paint looks very good as Scott said, but the trim really sets it off.

That's Armor All Tire Gell on the trim. Works awesome. I've used on 12 vehicle's tires and still have half of a bottle left. I'm buying 4 more bottles this weekend.

6 bux at Wal Mart. Awesom stuff.

Oh yeah......thanks Scott!

Justin: Great work!

I'm in for the befores, too.

How do you go about applying 2 coats of wax? Wipe on, wipe off; wipe on, wipe off? Do you charge extra for that?

Alot of my customers have asked me not take before pics. I guess they are embarrassed. I don't know if any other detailers get this too.

The 2 coats that i do are about 1 hour apart. Heck, Max Wax doesn't even need to haze before removal. It's included with the price of the detail.

This one was 350.00. Included a full interior and engine detail as well.

Great work Justin, as others have said...you're work is great and you're lucky to have such a market to get those prices for a detail.

Have you had a problem with the Armor All Gel streaking or running at all after a rain shower ?

If you ever have a really messed up car, you could always tell the owner the before pictures are for liability reasons :) And then sneek em' on here for us :)

Fantastic work Justin, you're right about that being one big truck. Glad to see the XMT line works well for you, I tried out the DP line when it was relaunched last year and it really performs.

The Max Wax looks amazing, especially with that colour. Here I was thinking that those tires would take a whole bottle of your AA tire gel. :chuckle:

Very nice work! thats a huge truck! Ive never had some object to a before shot. They are usually interested in it, saying "those should be some good before and afters". Ive had a few customers want me to email the pictures to them.

Looks Great!! :xyxthumbs: But those have to be some of the ugliest tail lights I have ever seen.

Yep. I was gonna put his stocks back in while he was on vacation!

That's a good point on the before shots for liability purposes. I guess I can start taking them again.

I've never had any streaking problem with the gel at all. I put it on early in the detail so it's really dry when it leaves. I've done 13 vehicle...alot with big tires...and still have over half a bottle left. I'm really liking it!
