I hope I can remember how to do this! I've been swamped the last 3 weeks with washes and vac's. I've actually made money and got done earlier than from doing full details. But where's the fun in that!?!?

This is a new client that owns a Century21 in a nearby town. I had 3 scheduled for full details but walk-in customers turned 2 of them into wash/vac's/ Oh well, I get do them fully next and made it a little easier on myself but tidying them up now! I hate to say it, but this thing was trashed. Very dirty inside and out. Good thing is that she wants me to keep it up weekly. I knocked out the other 2 and went to work on this one. It was a pleasant 42* at noon.......ok, it sucks! Oh well, I could be slapping shingles on!

Here's the process:

DP 4-in-1 Wash and Clay

(Washed a panel then clayed a panel.....saved a ton of time!)

Still so impressed with this system. Saves me a ton of water. I did blast off the lower half and wells along with the tires and wheels with my pressure washer. I figured I saved about 15 gallons of water easily.

Menzerna Intensive Polish

(EDGE2K Green Med. Cutting Pad at a #6 PC Setting)

I've been wanting to try this line up for awhile and thanks to "supercharged" and the sample he sent me, I was now able too. This stuff cut really well. The clear seemed soft so I was able to remove 95% of the swirls with the PC. This stuff is very concentrated. Once the pad was prime with a QD, it only took a pea-sized amount per panel. There was no dusting and wiped clean. No marring at all. I hope AG will consider to carry this line.

Meguiar's NXT Liquid Tech Wax

(EDGE2K White Fine Polishing Pad at a #4 PC Setting)

When I headed out this morning, I looked in the cabinent to see what LSP I wanted to try. I decided with NXT for 2 reasons: First, it looks really good on silver and light metallics and second, I simple haven't used it in a while! It only takes a little to do an entire car. Goes on smooth and almost vanishes. I always put two coat on. Not to layer but to give an even, uniform coat. I grabbed a towel and wiped it up. Was so easy and the metallics were popping! Not a bad look for over the counter.

Other Products Used:

DP Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner

(Very good stuff. Comes way to strong though. I've cut it 1:1 and now is perfect to me.)

DP Total Interior Cleaner

(Cleaned every inch of interior plastic with this. Works very well.)

DP Interior Protectant

(Leaves a nice matte finish with a light banana smell. My customers love the scent and look.)

DP Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner

(The best glass cleaner I've used to date. Has made my most hated step a breeze now!)

Armor All Tire Foam

(Spray onto engine, tires, and wells while still wet. Wiped cleaned with an MF Mitt after drying.)

Armor All Tire Gel

(Applied with occompanied applicator.)

Thanks to all.

I appreciate each and everyone of you on any forum!

(Sorry for the lack of pics. My camera's battery's were dying! I'll take more of the mats tomorrow. I have to go back to get paid!)

Very nice flake in the afters.

Surprised you didn't get dusting from IP, it dusts like a sawmill for me, and I find the working time isn't long enough to do enough correction.

Maybe you are using to much product. I didn't even use any QD on the pad for the second half just to see. Hmmmmmmm......

Great tranformation! I'm surprised that company cars are actually sent to be detailed. Usually all company cars are just trashed :)

Great job!

'Wash a panel then clay a panel.' For me, this has got to be one of the best attributes about the rinseless washes.

You ain't kidding bro!

Save so much time.

Awesome job there! My cousin is an agent and I'll be picking up his car weekly. Seems like they take a beating; but well worth the money IMO.

didn't realize you were so far away in the 706 area... is it still free with the 770/678/404 atlanta codes?

Nope but it is on my cell. It's all I use. Call me anytime bro. My number is on my site.

Awesome work there dude, that car was trashed!!! NXT does wonder's huh? It truly is a great OTC product :woot:

You know I love it. I think I will start using it more. I've tried high dollar sealants that can't perform as well or give the look that NXT can.
