Detailed 06 GMC Denali and Ford Ranger (Both Black)

I will post just so that people will not think that I am dead :) I have just been busy thats all. Anyway this was my Monday and Tuesday. Before pics are not posted because it is the usual summer dust and car wash swrils.

06 Denali

This truck had a spill in the trunk. A 2 gallon spill of lemonade to be exact. I recommended that the carpet pad be replaced since it stunk like nothing else. I took the time to run to Lowes and purchase the carpet pad and outline the cut outs from the original. All in all I was happy with the job as was the customer. A pic of the cut out carpet pad is also provided for your enjoyment. Here is the process on the paint...

Wash using Megs NXT. (this is good otc car wash)

Clay using a blue clay magic bar

Polish via rotary using a 75/25 mix of Menzerna FP and Adams Revive. This was done via rotary and green LC pad.

Paint was sealed using Blackfire

Wheel wells were dressed using Pro vinyl protectant as were the tires.

The interior was als fully detailed using my Aztec carpet cleaning machine.

The Ford Ranger was an exterior job only. Process was as follows...

Wash (NXT)

Clay (Clay Magic)

Polish via rotary using an LC Orange pad and Menzerna IP

Polish via rotary and grey lc pad using FP

Sealed using Blackfire.

Tires and wheel wells saw the same Pro protectant from the Denali.

So you replaced the padding under the carpet for them also or was that done before you detailed the denali. Both details look good glad to hear your busy

Both trucks look great. 2 gallons... that's a lot of lemonade!!! Hopefully it wasn't pink. Must have leaked out on the way back from the beach or something. Looks like you were down on the South Shore?

I really like the Mickey Mouse windshield sun screen in the Ranger. If you did it anytime over the last few days you must have been dying in this heat.

The Ranger was on the south shore and was done on Tuesday and the Denali was done in Bayville on Monday

Good guess
