Detailed 01 Nogaro Blue Audi S4

Here is another Audi, no interior pics because lighting is off on both pics that I clicked off on. Anyway this car got the works including engine. No before pics because it was just the usual dirt with swirls and water spots mainly on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. Process was

Clay (Adams yellow clay, similar to the old opti-clay. Adams no longer sells this clay anymore either.)

Polish with OC via orange pad and Rotary set at 1500 rpm.

Polish with Malco Swirl Remover via grey pad and rotary set at 1700 rpm

Seal with AJ

Engine

5:1 simple green

Spray down bay via my 1600psi pressure washer (after intake was properly covered)

Dress with Adams In and Out Spray

Interior

Clean with Oxy clean mix

Condition leather with Adams Leather conditioner

Clean matts with the good old little green machine

Absolutely great!!! Was the paint as hard as I think the Audi paint was? Again, wow!

P.S. how did you buff the moldings (mid door) and the rocker panels, got the same car just silver waiting for a detail.

I was very careful with the moldings, I usually tone down the speed. Rocker panels where treated same as any other part of the car. If you think the paint is soft down there just bring the speed down a notch.

Looks real nice, not a big fan of that style of rim on a car like the S4 though. Anything else done to it other than the intake? My friend has one, really nice car, he has just an APR chip on it but it still moves out pretty well for just 315hp in a heavy car.

I dont really know what he had under the hood besides software, exhaust, and intake. I know he was looking into stage 3 but he is a tip tranny and needs his trans beefed up before he can go any further from where he is now. Thanks for all the comments guys!

Nice job again, as expected. Isn't as much fun prepping the cars these past few mornings....brrr. Do you find that your chemicals are acting differently with the temp. drop?

I find that the clay is a bit harder to need and I give any sealant I use some extra time to dry. Oh and my extension cords are harder to wrap up lol

Take a jar or i use a meg's Clay container and add hot water to it upon arrival. Problem solved.

topnotch- Yeah, that's a great job, looks just wonderful!

How would you rate the clear's hardness? Seems like the only S4s I hear about with soft clear are all blue ones (which makes no sense to me...).
