Detail Pricing Questions

These questions are a little personal about your business, this may not be I. The best section.

In Winter time, do you still have consistent work, or does it still seem pretty regular? How do you price for your area? I think my area is a little "rich" so should I be charging a better price? How do I determine this price?

I live in Crestwood, IL.

Thanks everyone!

In colder climates, detailers that cater to retail work tend to slow down in the colder months. Especially if you are mobile.

Prices are dependent on what the market will bare and being considerate with your competition if necessary. I would research detailers in your area and gather their pricing to compare to yours.

How long have you been in business? Regardless of the demographics in your area, what kind/types of people do you attract with your current business strategy?

Well, I've only got business so far by word of mouth, which has been about 10 people. All were nice. See the problem, and advantage, there is really no other detailers in my area besides Delta Sonic. But there are others a while away in Chicago. So I've been using some of their prices, do you think my prices should be more since I'm in a nice Suburbs of Chicago?

Thanks!
