Hi Guys,

Here are a few pictures of my 1992 LS400. The car has 98,000 miles on her and has fared well through the nasty New England winters.

Here's what I did

Wash

Meguiars Deep Crystal Wash

Dry

Autoglym Drying Towel

Polish (With Porter Cable 7424)

Autoglym Super Resin Polish

Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection (By Hand)

Natty's Blue 2x

Mother's Advanced Top Coat 2x (By PC 7424)

Sprayed with Distilled Water and Wiped down with Microfiber Cloths

Tire Shine by Meguiars Gold Class Endurance High Gloss

Tell me what you think!

Very nice!!!

How much did the Mother's Advanced Top Coat add to the NB?

Natty's Blue made it excellent to begin with. It's hard to get a deep shine on a Beige car, but Natty's Blue did the trick. It really seemed "Brighter" and more "Reflective" (I'm putting these in quotes b/c it's a subjective thing) with the Mothers Advanced Top Coat. I have Four Star UPP on order for the S430, and it will be interesting to see which one comes out better.

Thanks for your comments!

Great wet shine and depth for that color! :)

Nice to see someone taking care of a 1st generation LS.

Appreciate your comments! I've seen your work on this forum and it is amazing!! You should write a book! The 1st Gen was our first expensive car and my dad's 50th birthday present to himself. We bought it 11 years ago. It's been the best car we've ever owned.

Thanks for your comments,

Sam
