Tough to tell but the wheels were rusted/pitted and the pics were taken AFTER a degreasing/pressure wash of them laugh.gif:

Stains ALL over carpet...sodas, milk, food, chocolate everywhere... :tantrum:

Such a nice truck one of the nicest trucks made today. To bad it was destroyed. You did a great job bringing it back to life!

What products did you use on the interior and exterior?

Thanks bro! meant to list those... lol

I used Menz IP, FP, and Pinnacle Souveran Wax on top

wheels, I used steel wool followed by poorboy's wheel wax

interior, I used my aztec hot spotter with some dp upholtstery cleaner with green brush to aggitate, followed by steamclean.

leather got pinnacle leather cleaner/protectant

303 protectant on panels/dash/plastics

trim was done with black again

engine bay was pressure washed, degreased and sprayed with foam

windows were done with poorboy's window cleaner

Nice turnaround on this Caddy! If that person needs that many packs of cigs in their car at any given time, I can't imagine how bad that thing must smell.

Just my opinion, but I really do not care for the watermark in your pictures. The font to me comes off as ghetto, juvenile, and unprofessional, at least for a detailing business. It reminds me of all the Alcatraz shirts and sweaters the vendors sell near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.

Great work bud! I hate to sound like that guy, but that truck REALLY needs a lowering kit. It's not like anyone ever takes them offroad, and a 2" drop on that hideous wheelgap would make that truck downright amazing.

Exactely how many packs of cigs does the guy need? That is crazy!! Did the interior wreak of cig smoke?

Nice turn around on the Escalade. I love those trucks. I have the EXT as my detailing vehicle. The truck itself gets me business! Awesome on the Black too.

it's an older guy in his 50's...he's all about keeping it stock how it came. and that's how it is now.

Great work on the car, but a couple things (constructive critism if you will)...

I would loose the Z in detail"Z", because I feel it is too slangy and can be a turn of to a great amount of clients. It feels a little to street, IMHO.

Becareful with steel wool on those wheels. GM and a couple others are putting clearcoats on their chrome wheels (I couldn't tell from the photos if those are polish aluminum or chrome) and I have seen a lot more new cars (detailed by another guy in Orlando) with scratching on the clear of the wheels from their previous detailer using steel wool.

Great job though, I'm sure that was a long day!

I agreed with Todd, lose the Z and be careful / or don't use steel wool on those rims, The job looks great and the shine is super!

steel wool doesn't damage chrome if you use 0000 and use it correctly. also, the wheels were in such a state that they were rusted out and nothing else would have made them better. as for the z...it doesn't lose any clients and details with an s was already taken, but thanks anyway. if you lived where i do it wouldn't make a difference, trust me lol

Steel can damage high nickle content chrome. Chrome itself is very hard, but very thin. Certain types of chrome plating uses high nickle content (triple chrome plated for example), and the nickle is so soft that high pressure can "indent" the nickle backing and appear to scratch chrome.

But GM as well as other companies are putting clear coats on most of their chrome wheels. Like I stated, the 0000 steel can damage the clear coat.

The Z thing was just an observation, sorry if you took offense.

I also agree with others about losing the "Z" at the end. The only thing worse you could do is call your business "AtTenTiON tO DeTaiLz". You already have the font and the "z" that makes it look unprofessional. You might not think you're losing business, but surely if there was a high-end client looking for your services, they just might go to a competitor because the other guy looks more professional.

Look at it this way, this is the 2nd time I recall looking at a C&B of yours, and instead of remembering you for your good work, I remember you for something as silly as an unprofessional looking font on your watermark. Both times it was the first thing I noticed. I just didn't say anything the first time.

It's kind of like making a nice, professional resume and ruining it by using [email protected] as your email. I could care less if you're a young kid who likes to skate and 69 the ladies on your free time and you could be the best qualified candidate for a job, but automatically I would rule you out because you're young and dumb (which we've all been there at some point.)

Catch my drift?
