Dent...

Grr, I parked my car in parking lot waaaayyyy in the back, and some A-hole pushed his cart into my car! I want to get the shield that the Bat-Mobile had in Batman the movie (1st one).

Anyways, you guys think I can hammer out the dint myself carefully with a hammer? Someone told me not to because the paint would chip, since it is cracked. Any ideas?

I hate to have the dent pulled out and the paint sanded off and repainted, because it never looks and/or matches right in certain lights afterwards.

Hello,

Funnily enough I had a dent repaired today by one of those paintless repair services, called dentdevils (don't know if yo have those in the states or not).

The guy said that I wouldn't even be able to tell the dent had even been there, and if there was any sign of the dent afterwards I wouldn't have to pay.

Like all autopians, i'm pretty picky, but i gotta say - WOW, It is completely gone. i thought there might have been a very slight trace around the edges of the dent, that you might only be able to see in the right light, but no - NOTHING LEFT AT ALL. Couldn't believe it.

Would defo recommend it. Cost me £50 inc. tax, so about $75.

I've used paintless dent removal companies before. I was astounded by the results. They do have to have access behind the dent for the process. Best to leave this to the professionals. I pay about $75 also.

Some companies are:

Dent Busters

Dent wizard (the one I use) www.dentwizard.com

Dent Pros
