Definitive answer for the Foam Gun

Hey all, this will be kind of windy.

I just ordered the Foamaster Half gallon gun from the AF store with the intentions of also ordering a gallon of CG citrus daily from Amazon (28 bucks and free shipping). However, my wife intercepted me between orders and asked me not to order anything else until we close on a house next month :(. This relegates my stock to only the sample size (2oz) DP Xtreme that comes with the gun. I have read and read and read about combining 2oz of the DP with 6 oz of water in the quart-sized guns. Will I be able to use this same amount of solution with my bigger gun or does the bigger tank require more in order to use it? I dont want to waste much product since I literally only have one shot until further notice.

Thanks everyone.

I can't answer your question directly. but couldn't you go and get a OTC soap like Megs Gold Class car wash to use while the house closes?

Oh and congrats on the new house

Thanks. I know, it's a weird question and I am having difficulty phrasing it. I guess a better way to put it is: Does the half gallon foam gun function the same way the quart size gun does with 8oz of solution in the container?

Another way to ask is: Based on the 8oz solution recommended for the quarter gallon foam gun tank, does the half gallon foam gun require more than 8oz of water/soap solution to function?

Thanks for your patience. I should have looked into this more beforehand.

One could only assume that the only difference between the two is the tank size. That would be my guess

I am with Shane. If the pick up hose is the same diameter on both foam gun, then the dilution should be the same. You just have a chance to put more mixed solution in a larger bottle.

AG recommends 2 ounces in 6 to 8 ounces.
