Deep scratches on glass (pics)

A client of mine wants to have me detail his E55 AMG but before we do that he is concerned about these scratches on the windshield. They look like they are very deep and if they were on paint you'd need a wool pad at least maybe even wetsanding. But since its on glass I'm not sure what would fix this, if its even possible. Any advice?

I've seen that kit before, and it says its for light scratches... These are pretty severe. Have you tested this kit on scratches like this?

I think Todd did a review of the kit. Might want to try searching for it.
