First of all!!!I wanted to say that this is an awesome, very informative forums.... ive been reading and learning a lot and i got the detail bug... there are so much different products out there that i want to try, but i wanna get the best and not spend that much money(married and buying a house). anyways i plan on detailing on the weekends just for myself, wife and family and maybe some friends..... i currently own a black 01 acura integra and it has a bunch of swirls everywhere... wifes car is silver and brothers car is red. i wanna get a product that will benefit all 3 cars(mostly my car).... im very interested in poorboys products, klasse twins, menzerna fp and ip, pinnacle products, and megs stuff.... i just dont know which combo/ products to get. i also want to get a pc but not yet, so this will need to be applied by hand.... please give me some ideas on what to do

thanks!!!!!!

As you will find throughout the posts on this forum, the real key to achieving a great result is the preparation. All of the products you listed are excellent and will give you a great appearance if you do the basic prep correctly. Importantly, choose a limited number of products and become an expert in those. There is a lot of expense in keeping several brands of cleaners, polishes, waxes, leather products, trim treatments, etc. You can branch out and try other products after you have gained expertise in the basics. I'm a Zaino Zealot; but you will find great looking results posted all over this forum with all of the products you listed as well as some applicable reviews to your specific situation. Your location (Vegas) should be a major factor in your product choice. Heat, UV rays, lack of humidity, etc. will affect how well your cars will look and how long the appearance lasts. Try to get feedback from experienced folks in your area before making your initial choice of products. And get a PC as soon as you can!!!

Good luck.

Swirls are quite difficult to remove by hand...if you have bad swirls, just save yourself some time and frustration and buy the PC first.

I'd prefer a Zaino shine like HRP too but you also have excellent choices. I'd start with the menzerna twins as your polish, then use your klasse twins, then decide on poorboys natty's and save some money or go for the 50 something dollar of pinnacle Souverän as a topper (don't get the cheaper pinnacle topper for dark colors), this would be my choice on your list.

You can apply menzerna fpII by hand but not the IP, it would be a waste. One possible substitution from my suggestion would be to change the SG for another sealant, you mentioned you want to try poorboys and they have good stuff too. p21s paint cleanser and AIO are must haves if you are trying to achieve a good detail w/o using a machine. You could mess with both of those on a clayed car with no risks of abrasives and often find yourself hiding swirls very well.

thanks guys!!!!! im definately getting the menzerna twins and klasse twins.... still havent decided on the topper yet. i really want to get pinnacle souveran, but it cost a lot. how is clearkote products?? i also read the UPP is a good combo after AIO.

i just remembered i gotta get a lot of MF's, applicators, brushes and a chenille mit.....
