when you get a new account at a dealership, what kind of paperwork do you usually need to bring with you? dba form?

Usually I just present them with a bill and they pay me as an outside vendor.

yea but they need to add you in their system as a vendor. i got 2 dealers where they didnt ask for anything but a business card but one ask for paperworks for my business. i ask what kind of paperworks and the guy didnt even know. dba form will do it?

I would let that guy tell you. If he doesn't know he should ask someone that does.

You need to fill out a W2 so that they can 1099 you at the end of the year. They will also need your proof of insurance too. That's about it.
