DC-er's I NEED HELP

I need help.
Today I washed my truck and after drying it looked pretty good but I decided that I would put dressing on the tires.
Well after I got that done I thought it would look better if I did the fender flares with a vinyl dressing and then I did the mirrors and the trim on the bumpers.
Then the tonneau cover looked like it was not as shiny as the rest so I did the cover with 303
I decided to put M135 on the paint for a little added protection and increase the gloss.
I vacuumed the inside but it did not really need that either but I put 303 on the removable black rubber mats and that freshened them up.
I used some NXT to do the door jambs and all around the doors and put dressing on the rubber pads on the door sill.
When I started all I was going to do was wash it and it did not need that very bad.
Please DC-er’s I need HELP my wife thinks I’m Crazy.

Boy that M135 smells good :D

I'm looking forward to being like that with my own car one day. When you detail other people's cars all day long you tend to let yours go a bit.:redface:
 
What do you need help with sounds like you did a fine job to me.

Oh now I see, you forgot to do the windows, we'll send someone over :lol:
 
I end up doing more than a wash whenever I wash the vehicles. My daughter's girl friend left her car at my house when they went to class, I had told her I would polish the headlights which WERE very hazy. Well, after the headlights I washed, clayed and put a coat of NXT on it. When they came home I was out in the garage and I heard her say,"Holy C%#$, look how good my car looks!" I love those reactions. My wife thinks I am nuts too, but never complains since her car always looks great!

Some time back my wife drove her SUV to the convenience store and she told me someone said boy that really looks nice how do you keep it looking like that.
She said I have my own personal detailer and my car always looks like this. :huh: :crazy2:
 
I used to be just as bad until I let my 8yr old help me (my own vehicle). I'm kinda like Troy in that I OCD my clients vehicles more than mine. Trust me...the 8yr old is anything but OCD..
