Daytona Blue Metallic 350z Chip Repair?

Hello DC'ers. I am getting rolling with a new detailing business in Southern Delaware and I often use my personal car for new products, practice, etc. I'm sure you understand. I have 11,xxx miles and too many chips on the bumber/hood. The hood is not nearly as bad so I ordered a clearcoat and basecoat pen as well as brush-on basecoat and clearcoats from paintscratch.com I also ordered the Langka kit for use with the paints. I will be doing the sand/compound/polish as well as the "Blob eliminator" for comparision purposes.
The bumper has numerous chips and one incident of curb rash from day 2 of ownership...ouch! I am also interested if anyone has ever undertaken a complete bumber respray with spray-on touch up paint? Is this feasible for the home do-it-yourselfer? I will be applying the 3m clearbra to the entire front of the vehicle after these repairs are complete. How long would I need to wait if we are talking a professional bodyshop repray and my own chip repair on the hood before clearbra application?
Any advice regarding how difficult a color the Daytona Blue Metallic is in the spectrum of colors. I'm assuming on the more difficult side as it it metallic and not too dark. Advice on this color and the 350z in particular as well as any other input regarding this post will be greatly appreciated and paid back either in this world or another. Before and after pictures will be posted as well as soon to come pictures of my driveway with a 20x8 canopy, and $2000 worth of tools and products and storage. I've got licenses, insurance, logos, cards, brochures, advice etc...and I will soon post everything and anything I have regarding setting up and marketing a new business. Based on initial responses this business should be self sufficient by spring.

I used the Langka kit earlier this week on my 92' Cadillac with 12 yrs of chips on the from bumper.....all I can say is the product is fantastic....

The car is white and once I applied the dealer supplied paint I thought UH OH....wrong color mix??......but after using the langka kit and working it in I can not even notice the chips unless im 1ft from them looking right at them.........results helped me decided to return the clear coat I purchased.
