Hello all,
I have been slowly working the paint on my car over the past week in preperation for my first shot at Zaino. Between the kids and job hunting I don't have the time to do it all in one shot and the car has been driven daily. I am careful to wash it each time before I get started again to be sure I have removed anything from the surface. It has been washed every day this week and I have used GCCW for most of them but, I have done 2 Dawn washes. Just did the second one this morning.
My question is should the paint still bead like mad when after the Dawn wash it should be nekkid
There shouldn't be any wax on the car as I have gone over the entire surface with DACP. The only thing the Dawn should have had to remove is the oils from the DACP. The only other thing on the paint beforew the Dawn wash is Meguiars Quick Detailer as sometimes I have to stop to deal with the kids or some other issue and the DACP can be hard to remove when it sits for a while.
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom you all can pass my way. Just want to be sure that I don't have any residue on the car that will affect the Zaino bond.
Thanks
