Dash/Door Maintenence

In my early detailing days, when I was still ignorant, I used Armor All shine protectant. Then I read about how that can dry out and damage your plastic and dashboard and I switched to Meguiar's Rubber and Vinyl Protectant. I am very satisfied with it. It has a milky texture and a nice smell nad YOU decide whether you just want to protect (one application) or to shine (follow up application). But I am easily persuaded if someone has something else that works much better (one plus point for Meguiars is that I don't have to order it -it's readily available in a store).

When it really requires cleaning, I just use an APC.

My interior is fairly clean, and the cleaners in Natural look will handle the general stuff.

I use PB Apc diluted 1:10 for general/light cleaning and have been using Eagle One Nano Protectant for protection. It appears to be basically the same as the Megs. I have my arsenal of Megs Mist and Wipes with which I am also pleased.

Nikro000: Rest easy knowing that Armor All Original is now water based.

I have the DP Total Interior Cleaner and it works great! It is a really good cleaner and has a banana scent. If the interior is really dirty then I go to the DP Total Interior and after its clean I follow up with Poorboy's World Natural Look to protect.

Just curious to see what everyone uses to wipe down/clean and protect dash and door areas (basically everything inside the car besides the glass, seats, and floor).

Came across this and thought it might be a good choice before PB NL.
DP Total Interior Cleaner cleans plastic, vinyl, leather, carpet, and upholstery without harsh solvents or caustic chemicals.

Looks like an excellent choice. Thanks for pointing it out!

FYI... if you decide to use a diluted APC, always test in an inconspicuous spot or two first. Some APC's (not PB's) are pretty nasty, even when diluted.
